Job summary: To inspire and prepare each and every student with the confidence, courage and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning by supporting student services in due process. Assist the special education teacher in the operation and function of the classroom, and to work with individual or small groups of students as directed by and under the supervision of the special education teacher. Facilitate due process of special education meetings and reports.

Park Brook Elementary school is a Focus on Fitness school for the purpose of increasing academic growth and positive behaviors.  The individual selected should be supportive of this initiative.  There are opportunities before school, after school and on weekends to provide support for a number of fitness activities, all of which are paid and not a requirement of the position.
