About Us: Four Star Express is a high-quality early learning program for four-year-old students that aligns with the district's mission: To inspire and prepare all students with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams, contribute to community, and engage in a lifetime of learning. Four Star Express is a unique, full-day childcare program located within the school setting, designed to nurture, prepare, and support the growth of four-year-old children as they get ready for kindergarten.

Position Summary: We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Educational Support Professionals (ESPs) to support and supervise our youngest learners. This role includes leading activities, supporting students' physical and emotional needs, maintaining a safe, caring, welcoming and equitable environment, and working closely with the instructor and team to deliver a quality early learning experience.  This position will rotate to different 4 Star sites during the course of the school year depending on need and staff absences.

 

Hours/Schedule:
Monday–Friday 7:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. or 11:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. for the school year only. This is a school year only position and does not extend through the summer months.
*Four Star Express is also open on most non-school days. Hours and locations vary on these days, and staff are guaranteed their minimum scheduled hours sometime between 6:30 AM–6:00 PM.

Salary:  View Classification II (2) salary grid, section 1 for rates of pay of Educational Support Professional contract ; $21.42 to $26.42/hourly depending on experience.
Job Type:  Part-time school year only open on non school days.
