Job Summary: To inspire and prepare all students with the confidence, courage and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning by processing, verifying and tracking the long-term, partial, intermittent, medical, and childcare leaves for all district staff. This position manages the leave process, ensuring compliance with federal and state rules, laws, and district contract language. This includes providing support to the attendance specialist. Provides exceptional customer service to employees, managers, and HR team members.

 

Responsibilities and tasks include:

 

Processes employee leave requests in accordance with state and federal laws and contractual obligations.

Process and manage employee Long-Term disability claims in accordance with the Districts’ policy.

Serves as a backup to support the HR Attendance Specialist responsibilities.

Performs other comparable duties of a like or similar nature as assigned.

Salary: Pay Grade 107; Hiring Range $28.77 to $35.79

 

Work schedule: 8 hours/day; 260/261 Days/year

 

FTE:Full-Time; Year-Round
